At Calero, we've created seven Centers of Excellence (COE) to deliver top-notch services to our clients. Among these, the Implementation COE plays a pivotal role in driving value realization from the get-go.

Calero unveiled its groundbreaking Centers of Excellence in January 2021, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to providing thought leadership in practice areas and establishing the required governance and processes to deliver unrivaled service to all clients. Each COE aligns with a primary function of our organization, with the Implementation COE dedicated to delivering value to customers as swiftly and efficiently as possible. 


Implementation COE: Redefining Value Delivery 

The Implementation COE at Calero goes beyond initiating new projects; it's about reimagining how we deliver value to our clients. We understand that every minute counts in today's fast-paced business environment. Our relentless dedication has led to unique solutions that defy customer expectations. 

For example, we had one customer start the contracting process that we knew would take a bit of time to complete. Everyone was eager to get started on implementation, so we started allocating resources before contracts were even signed, ensuring we were able to deliver within the timeline and set up our implementation teams for success. This approach illustrates our commitment to our customers' success.  


Collaborative Excellence: The Secret to Our Success 

At Calero, we foster a culture of collaboration across all six of our strategic business units. This enables us to constantly communicate feedback across all departments so we can provide the best solution possible. For example, the Implementation COE often collaborates with Customer Value COE, which serves as an internal advocate for our customers. This collaborative approach ensures that our customers always come first and are always at the forefront of our mind when making decisions.

One of the key strengths of our Implementation COE is its ability to understand and cater to unique customer needs. We know that success can mean different things to different customers based on their differing estates, needs, and integrations. During the requirements-gathering phase of implementation, we ask specific questions to ensure our operational and technical teams have a strong understanding of their needs and success criteria. 


Learning from the Past to Shape the Future 

Each concluded implementation is not just a completed project; it's a learning opportunity. Our project managers complete project retrospectives, documenting all learnings and observations. These retrospectives are shared with our Project Management Offices, allowing us to develop best practices and work back with product management and engineering to enhance our technologies. 



By defying traditional implementation norms, fostering inter-departmental collaboration, tailoring success to individual customers, and leveraging retrospective learning, we are setting new standards in SaaS optimization and customer value realization.
