The Cost Accountability component of our Usage Management solution focuses on identifying, quantifying and applying equitable costs of your corporate technology services based on usage, and merging the rated usage records with organizational data to apportion those costs across the organization’s reporting hierarchy (e.g., individual, cost center, department, division, etc.).

Cost Accountability includes the following capabilities:

Usage-Based Costing of Inventory

We can apply costs to inventory, based on usage data or imported data.

Recurring Charges Import

We can import or configure recurring charges that can be assigned to inventory, personnel or elements of your organization reporting hierarchy.

Non-Recurring Charges Import

We can import or configure non-recurring charges that can be assigned to inventory, personnel or elements of your organization reporting hierarchy.

Inventory Assignment

We provide a method for inventory to be assigned to personnel or any level of your organization’s reporting hierarchy.

Organizational Reporting

Our solution offers automated reporting that rolls up usage-based costing, recurring charges, and non-recurring charges, so that employees at any given level of your organization can view charges and associated usage for their level of your organization and below.

General Ledger Feed

We provide a method to transfer aggregated costs by organizational cost center in an appropriate format, for consumption by third party accounting systems.
