Calero Recognizes Business Service Management Innovator Award Winners for 2014

Awards recognize organizations that use their Calero solutions in innovative ways to achieve excellence

Rochester, NY (Oct. 24, 2014) – Calero Software, a leading provider of Enterprise Communications Management solutions, has presented its 2014 Business Service Management (BSM) Innovator Awards to the University of Kentucky, ENI Petroleum of Houston, TX, and DIRECTV of El Segundo, CA.

“These organizations have used their Calero solutions in exceptionally creative and effective ways to address the demands of their business environments,” said Chris Jurasek, President of Calero Software. “Our solutions help our customers maximize the value of their external communications investments, manage their internal IT environments, and optimize their overall communications usage.”

Winners and award categories:

  • University of Kentucky | Self Service and Automation – The University Analytics & Technologies Department integrated their Incident Management System with their Calero Telecommunications Management solution to reduce delays and errors caused by manual data entry into redundant systems and significantly improve customer response time.
  • ENI Petroleum | Business Intelligence – ENI implemented Calero’s Wireless Call Accounting software to replace a spreadsheet-based, manual auditing process with automated call auditing. The solution reduced unauthorized calls, aligned cost control to wireless invoices, and reduced overall mobile costs by 50%.
  • DIRECTV | Resource Management – DIRECTV leveraged Calero’s “process characterization” in combination with Calero Expense Management Services to streamline and automate manual processes, eliminate waste, and create greater visibility into telecom costs and services.

The Awards were announced on September 24th at the Calero World Users Training Conference in Austin, TX. The annual event helps Calero customers enhance their skills and add value to their organizations.  Next year’s conference will be held in September in Phoenix, AZ.
