We’re excited to announce that Calero VeraSMART 12.2 is here. This latest release offers new features and enhancements designed to help you be more productive and work more efficiently. It also includes a now fully international mobile portal, including support for international numbers and invoice currencies.
New features and enhancements include:
VeraSMART now supports internationally-formatted wireless numbers. When creating a new wireless number, wireless numbers will now have an associated country and country code. Additionally, the 12.2 version adds new options that allow users to determine how to handle international wireless numbers configured from an import.
International wireless number support is available as part of the multinational license.
VeraSMART 12.2 introduces additional multi-currency capabilities for VeraSMART’s Wireline and Wireless TEM customers.
Users with a multinational license can now specify the currency on a Master Account and have all of the related invoice charges updated automatically, regardless if invoices already exist in VeraSMART.
In systems with a multinational license, Wireless Plans, Device Models, and Accessories can now all specify currency. This additional functionality is designed for customers who have a multinational footprint and may require different currencies depending upon the wireless carrier options available for their users.
Multi-currency support is available as part of the multinational license.
In certain situations, employees are permitted to use their own wireless number and device (cell phones, tablets, laptops, etc.) for business purposes. These devices continue to be owned by the employee but are tracked by the company. BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) registration enables comprehensive device tracking and management in the company’s MDM (Mobile Device Management) system for the personally-owned wireless devices employees use for business.
BYOD is available as part of the mobility procurement license.
VeraSMART 12.2 also adds a number of enhancements for invoice management. These include an expanded ability to process and manage invoices and charges by adding the option to select a Service Type (telecom or non-telecom), and the addition of several new fields for Power invoices. Version 12.2 also adds the option to inform VeraSMART that there should be multiple invoices per month, as well as provides users with a new option to code invoice charges by inventory.
The VeraSMART 12.2 release enables various Inventory Management and Invoice Management analytics sheets to be filtered by Location and Organization Hierarchies, respectively.
VeraSMART 12.2 now supports Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE), a unified communications Session Border Controller (SBC) element that bridges voice and video connectivity between two separate VoIP networks. VeraSMART also now supports Avaya Session Border Controller (SBC) using an FTP/SFTP connection.
