Calero Launches Further DEI Initiatives

Driving Diversity

With almost 1000 employees around the globe, we aim to drive diversity, which is why Calero is ecstatic to announce the launch of several Resource Groups within our company!

 

Equal Grounds Employee Resource Group

At Calero we vouch to focus on uplifting women and other marginalized employees by supporting not only their career goals, but to provide a safe space for discussion and to foster friendships within our offices. Equal Grounds Employee Resource Group aims to empower and promote gender equality within our offices.

Nearly 74% of young women express interest in STEM-related careers. However, only 18% pursue them due to harassment, discrimination and lack of female presence in the workforce.

 

Patchwork Employee Resource Group

Here at Calero we want you to be your authentic self. Through Patchwork Employee Resource Group, we are able to bring awareness of cultural differences within the workplace. Many employees tend to experience trauma from cultural intolerance. By enabling a safe space, employees can embrace cultural differences and likenesses without fear of judgment. 

Our goals are to bring awareness to cultural differences, historical events, alongside how they parallel with events in our current time.

 

True Colors Employee Resource Group

Calero promises to support the LGBTQ community and to provide an outlet for those experiencing discrimination in their lives. True Colors Employee Resource Group aims to create a safe space for members to offer support to one another, encourage opportunities for mentorship and professional development, and to provide a social outlet. 

The purpose of the True Colors Employee Resource Group is to provide support and friendship for LGBTQ employees of Calero and their allies.

 

Environmental & Sustainability Alliance

ESA aims to lower Calero’s carbon footprint, with hopes of lowering our customers’ carbon footprint as well. By establishing a “green” workplace, Calero can find environmentally sustainable solutions and implement green initiatives.

The Environmental & Sustainability Alliance ERG will advance the understanding and inclusion of employees with a common background, set of interests and/or goals.
